Under the backdrop of the "dual carbon" strategy, the green transformation of automotive parts is accelerating. Recently, a new materials company in Jiangsu successfully developed a "recyclable general-purpose carbon fiber spoiler." Using a novel thermoplastic resin matrix, the carbon fiber material can be efficiently separated and recycled at the end of its life, achieving a recycling rate exceeding 85%.
Traditional carbon fiber products have long faced environmental controversy due to their difficulty in degrading. This technological breakthrough not only solves the problem of disposing of discarded spoilers but also reduces production energy consumption and carbon emissions. A company representative stated, "The new process reduces production costs by approximately 20%, paving the way for large-scale deployment."
Industry experts believe this achievement provides a new path for the sustainable application of composite materials in lightweighting vehicles. In the future, recyclable carbon fiber technology is expected to become standard in high-end modified parts, driving the industry's transition to green manufacturing.
